Hot Belly Mama’s in Peterborough is a damn safe bet for a mid-range meal. The thing I love about eating out in Peterborough is the mid-range restaurants really shine. Hot Belly’s is a cajun restaurant on the main drag. One of my favourite salads is their San Franciscan which combines salmon, chicken, and a creamy dressing in a surprisingly classy way.

Every sandwich includes two sides - the sweet potato fries are highly recommended.

After our lovely dinner we went over to the Olde Stone for dessert where we had the best vanilla ice cream (not pictured!? I'm a bad food blogger) I’ve had in recent history.
